Full-time accountancy course launched by Anglia Ruskin on its Chelmsford campus
Anglia Ruskin University is offering the opportunity to study for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants' full-time course on its Chelmsford campus from September.
Anglia Ruskin, which has more than 40 years of experience in delivering ACCA qualifications, is the only university in Essex to offer papers F4-F9, which leads to the prestigious ACCA Part Qualified (PQ) status.
Lecturer Tony Stringer of Anglia Ruskin's Lord Ashcroft International Business School is leading the ACCA full-time course, which is open to both UK and international students. He said:
"The ACCA PQ is recognised by leading employers around the world.
"Anglia Ruskin is one of very few UK government funded universities to offer such a comprehensive academic programme with additional reinforcement classes and workshops, plus the entire social and support services of a major university.
"We are delighted to announce that students with exceptional academic and professional qualifications will be eligible for an academic bursary of £1,000 as we are confident that this programme will attract the best and brightest accountancy and business professionals of the future."
The course provides the opportunity to progress either to the full ACCA Professional qualification, which will be launched next year, or on to Anglia Ruskin's Finance & Accounting MSc programme.
Anglia Ruskin's Lord Ashcroft International Business School is one of only 15 publicly funded education providers in the UK to have attained the ACCA Gold status, which involves an intensive and comprehensive audit of delivery, facilities, achievement, student support, technical competence and financial stability.
The first cohort for the ACCA full-time course starts this September and there will be a second intake in January 2013. For further information, please contact Tony Stringer by emailing email@example.com.
